I am a Winter 2009 graduate of the University of Oregon, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the School of Journalism and Communication with an emphasis on magazine writing and photography, and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies.

 

A native Oregonian (and true-blue liberal), I graduated from Roseburg High School in 2005.  Both of my parents are educators and I have always had an appreciation and passion for learning.  Additionally, I enjoy hiking, going to concerts, reading, photography, yoga, mowing my lawn, bookstores, collecting records, good grammar and reading the “missed connections” on Craigslist.
